Thank you, Daria

For a year, Daria Bandurova led the integration courses (MIA – "Migrant Women Simply Strong in Everyday Life") at AWO Sonthofen with great dedication. During this time, she supported around 60 women on their journey to a new life in Germany.

What the MIA courses at AWO Sonthofen achieve:

• Everyday language acquisition: Practical German skills are the focus, facilitating integration into daily life, dealing with authorities, and entering the workforce.

• Empowering women: The courses offer a safe environment where women can make connections, build a support network, and gain self-confidence.

• Social participation: In addition to language, cultural and social contexts are also taught, which sustainably promotes integration into the local community.

A heartfelt thank you to Daria Bandurova for her impactful work at AWO Sonthofen and all the best for her future endeavors!

With a bouquet of flowers, Ina Kühn from AWO Sonthofen expressed her sincere gratitude to Daria Bandurova for her dedicated work as leader of the MIA courses.
